I can't even begin to tell you how many clients shared stories with me about horrible infections they had in a past from careless nail techs in other salons that don't pay any attention to proper disinfecting, sterilizing and sanitizing their tools, and their pedicure chair systems, leading to foot funguses,warts etc..

that will later have you regret ever walking in to that type of salon,because its cheep,convenient,no appointments needed etc..
Many pedicure chairs that have JETS harbor bacteria, soap debris, and scum in the PLUMBING, behind the jets.. AND that is because whenever the tubs are turned on and the jets are activated all of that is sloughed off...You can't (always) see it, but it circulates back into the user's water..
SO WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
THAT YOU SHOULDN'T GET A PEDICURE WHERE SALON'S USE JET SYSTEMS,unless you can see it for yourself !That the proper cleaning steps are performed in front of you such as: running the water thru the jets, reinstalled the actual parts of the jets and then rinsed with bleach or other cleaning products that kill the bacteria,germs fungi etc..after EACH CLIENT)
PIPELESS SINKS ARE BEING INSTALLED IN MANY SALONS,BUT STILL NOT IN ALL OF THEM, HOWEVER..(THESE ARE MUCH SAFER FOR YOU.)

YOU DON'T NEED TO WORRY HERE! IS IT CLEAN? WHEN WAS IT CLEAN LAST? WHAT IF?
IN ADDITION TO THAT: ALL FOOT FILES,NAIL FILES BUFFERS,SPATULAS,PEDICURE SLIPPERS,TOES SEPARATORS, ARE: DISPOSABLE!
I am passionate about my work,i do care about my clients health and that's why i use the products i use and fallow the latest news and updates in nail industry to always be aware,educated and up to date in my profession :)
