He looked pretty proud of his motorbike as he cruised around on Wednesday.

And Keanu Reeves should do too, since he helped design it.

The 51-year-old took his custom KRGT-1 for a spin around LA, stopping at a garage in West Hollywood for a refuel pitstop.

The Matrix star couldn't have looked any cooler in his brown biker jacket, jeans and suede boots.

He had all the essential accessories, including sleek black leather riding gloves, shades, and half-helmet.

With filming of his John Wick his most recent project, the actor maintained the hitman's long hair and shapely beard.

The action star is making the most of his time off; on Monday he was also spotted cruising around the city on the $78,000 bike too.

Bike design is a passion of Keanu's, who co-founded the Arch Motorcycle Company with Gard Hollinger.

The 121 horsepower, 2,000cc beauty is the result of five years of work to design a motorbike for Reeve's personal use.

Last Christmas the two offered for sale a custom KRGT-1 - as well as their company on a weekend long ride around California - in Neiman Marcus' annual fantasy gift guide.

According to the Arch website, Keanu has only ever owned a couple of cars, preferring to travel on two wheels rather than four. 

Because he regularly films all over the world, he usually buys a motorcycle on location and then sells it whenever the movie wraps.
