Optical illusion image of swimwear model which makes her waist look smaller than her HEAD

Jay Alvarrez (bottom right photo), 20, a travel blogger and model with 3.4 million Instagram followers, shared a picture today of his 19-year-old girlfriend Alexis Ren (main photo). In the photo, Alexis - who has 4.6 million Instagram followers of her own - appears to have a waist that is smaller than her head. The effect was due to strange angle, which likely involved Alexis' head and arms being much closer to the camera than her waist. However, thousands of people chimed in, with some making judgmental comments about her size. Jay has since deleted the photo. Other photos on her account, though, give a truer sense of her size. While Alexis is certainly slim - and often wears underwear and swimsuits in her pictures - her waist is not as tiny as it appears in the deleted snao.
