Selena Gomez Dating News: Singer Says She's The Only Single Girl In Their Squad

As far as friendships go, singer Selena Gomez has one of the most popular girl squads around. Her list of friends include Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and other notable names.

All of the girls share good looks and fame, but according to Gomez, there is one thing that sets her apart from her peers.

"None of them are single, just so you know. Taylor is not single, Gigi is not single, neither is Kendall. I am the only single one!" she told Music News during an interview.

Since she does not currently have a boyfriend, Gomez is only focused on her work.

Gomez is very proud of the success generated by her album "Revival," and she hopes to continue making more good music.

"This is what I've always loved to do and I had so much to prove, I was in a point in my career where I was very motivated by the chaos that was around me. There was a lot of noise - the world had an opinion on my life and it was a little invasive. I wanted to use that as motivation to write this album and to create something that was authentic and was real and genuine and me. Now I am a little bit more open," she said.

Meanwhile, a source told Hollywood Life that after Gomez broke up with her on-again, off-again beau Justin Bieber, she became jaded about love and found it difficult to jump back on the dating wagon.

"Selena has seen some writing on the wall that her having a relationship in the future is going to be very, very hard. She has joked so much to friends that she is going to be single forever that some friends are actually believing it," the source said.

"She is very apprehensive in trying something new or being set up because she believes it is doomed to fail from the start for a plethora of reasons. She covers those emotions up though by always working, she now wants to be continuously busy whether it is with her tour or doing films. It gives her an excuse to not stress on meeting a guy," the source added.
