~ Athena Tacha's new solo show, "Shapes of Fluidity: phto-environments and sculpture" is at the Marsha Mateyka Gallery, Washington, DC; thru March 19, 2016.

~ Courtney Mattison's solo exhibition, “Sea Change,” features delicate sculptures of larger-than-life ocean coral and their biggest enemies: rising sea levels, higher temperatures, and of course, humans; at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art; thru April 17, 2016.

~ Open Call for Papers for an "Art and Cancer" a special section of LEONARDO Journal (MIT Press).

~ Anja Witt's "Beyond the Sea,“ is a solo exhibition of paintings that reflect on the process and forces at work in the ocean; Gallery Reinhardt & Partner, Hamburg, Germany; 25 March - 22 April 2016; Opening on Thursday 24 March from 6 pm.
