And Louis Tomlinson proved himself to be every inch daddy cool as he paid his girlfriend Danielle Campbell a visit at West Hollywood's upmarket Suset Marquis hotel on Saturday.

The 24-year-old One Direction heartthrob ensured he looked his best for his reunion with his actress girlfriend, 21, after jetting out to meet her on Thursday.

Louis, who shares son Freddie Reign with ex-flame Briana Jungwirth, 24, went for a cutting edge look as he cut a casual figure in a denim shirt and low-cut white vest.

Clearly taking advantage of the searing heat away from his chilly native England, the Perfect hitmaker's vest gave a glimpse of his chest tattoo reading: 'It is what it is'.

Toying with the often slated double denim look, Louis went for black, skin-tight skinny jeans which added a super indie feel to the ensemble.

He topped off the look with his recently favoured high-top, green and white Adidas trainers which perfectly coordinated with his bright white vest.

Louis styled his hair into its usual dramatic side parting, with a lengthy fringe framing his handsome face and a sheared side edging along the back.

The One Direction hunk is currently enjoying the spoils of an indefinite hiatus from The X Factor formed boy band, after the foursome parted ways in January.

It appears Louis is using the time away to focus on both his love and family life as he settles into being a father stateside while also visiting his stunning girlfriend Danielle.

The couple have put on an united front after Louis became a dad for the first time in January with ex-fling Briana.

But whilst Louis and his former flame have been loving having baby Freddie Reign the couple have reportedly been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their newborn son.

Last month, it was reported that the pair had reached a 'temporary custody settlement,' but it has since been alleged that a major condition of the agreement is preventing Danielle from having access to the baby boy.

According to TMZ, Briana is concerned about another woman interacting with her child and interfering with the 'critical bonding period' between mother and son.

While Louis - who lost his grandfather Keith last week - hopes to spend time with Freddie in his Los Angeles home with Danielle present, Briana is said to be determined that the pop star only visit Freddie at her house, alone.

Louis and Danielle have been inseparable since they started dating last year and their romance has intensified since Louis has been based in LA.
