Been shunning the Cookies? Empire's Ta'Rhonda Jones reveals her toned figure in plunging gown with thigh-high slit 

Her character on Empire is always being told to keep quiet by the larger-than-life Cookie Lyon.

But on Saturday Ta'Rhonda Jones was no shrinking violet as she arrived for the Human Rights Campaign 2016 Los Angeles Gala Dinner, held at the JW Marriott.

The 27-year-old put her stunning figure on display in a flowing black dress with a plunging front and thigh-high slit.

Ta'Rhonda wore a long-sleeved black gown, which featured a daringly, deep V-neck that highlighted her ample assets.

The striking number cinched in to highlight her trim waist, before falling to a flowing, floor-length skirt.

Ta'Rhonda's gorgeous gown also showed off one of the actress's toned pins with a daring, thigh-high slit.

Not in the background today! Though she usually gets hushed and pushed to the side as Cookie Lyon's (Taraji P. Henson) assistant on Empire, Ta'Rhonda certainly had all eyes on her at Saturday's gala 

The Empire star accessorized the eye-catching look with a pair of strappy, yellow heels, that flaunted a trendy, pastel pedicure that coordinated with her light grey manicure.

Ta'Rhonda - who plays Porsha alongside Taraji P. Henson's Cookie - also donned a few statement, gold rings, as well as a pair of long, dangling gold earrings.

She sported a chic, pixie cut for the occasion, and highlighted her features with dark eyeliner, mascara, and bright pink lipstick.

The form-fitting number highlighted Kaitlin's toned figure, and an open back added a bit of sex appeal to the sophisticated look.

She wore her long, blonde tresses pulled up into a topknot, and showed off some dark eyeliner as well as a white manicure that coordinated with her dress.

The series co-creator and executive producer Lee Daniels, 56, also hit the carpet, putting on quite the loving display with his longtime boyfriend Jahil Fisher.

The duo looked absolutely blissful as they cuddled up to each other while posing for photos ahead of Lee's series being honored at the event.

He looked suave in a blue suit for the occasion, with his younger beau, 34, sporting a semi-sheer black button down and fitted black trousers.

Later, he was spotted onstage - along with series stars Kaitlin, Ta'Rhonda, Gabourey Sidibe, Bryshere Y. Gray, who goes by Yazz the Greatest, and showrunner and executive producer Ilene Chaiken - as their hit drama Empire was honored.

Meanwhile, Dancing with the Stars champ Cheryl Burke, 31, showed off her toned figure in a fitted, navy blue strapless gown.

The floor-length number featured a sweetheart neckline and small sash around the waist to highlight her slim physique.

Justin Mikita, 31 - a member of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation Board of Directors and husband of actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson - looked sharp in a navy blue suit with a black lapel and patterned bow tie.

He showed off a big smile as he was seen posing beside Broadway star Shoshana Bean, 38, ahead of the dinner.

Actor Hal Sparks, 46, kept it classic in a fitted, black suit for the gala, as he arrived with girlfriend Summer Soltis.
