'I have lost everyone except my little girl': Heartbreak of woman whose two sons, mother, partner and sister all drowned in Irish pier tragedy - while she was on hen do - but her baby survived

Five people feared dead in Donegal as jeep crashes off a pier into the Irish Sea

Louise James, pictured with her partner Sean McGrotty and their three children, was apparently away at a hen party in Liverpool when her mother, teenage sister, partner and two sons drowned at the harbour at Buncrana in County Donegal, north-west Ireland yesterday evening. The two adults and three of the children drowned when their Audi Q7 'slipped on algae' while turning on the pier's slipway, top right. But Rionaghac-Ann, Ms James's four-month-old daughter, survived the accident after she was rescued from the water by a passer-by, who stripped off and dived into the freezing water. Ms James has now been reunited with her baby girl, and told her priest: 'I have lost everyone, except little Rionaghac-Ann - Rionaghac-Ann is my reason to go on.' Those who died were named today as Mr McGrotty, the couple's sons Mark and Evan, Ms James's mother Ruth Daniels and her sister Jodie-Lee, inset.

Jennifer Phillips, 29, (pictured right today), said Williams, 19, had 'robbed' her of a husband and children Abigail, seven, and Sophie, three, of their father. In an unusual move she took the opportunity to address the court herself and to deliver her heart-rending victim impact statement from the witness box - and told Williams, who was jailed for 20 years: 'I wrote this because of what you have done to me and my children'. She said: 'When the children cry for their daddy asking me to bring him back to them, the one wish they want, while sobbing uncontrollably. The one thing I can't give them. It's gut wrenching, it's torture'. Mrs Phillips said that, on the night her husband died, she had held his hand, 'begging' him to live, as doctors fought for 40 minutes to resuscitate him - while Williams was covering his tracks.

KATIE HOPKINS: Sorry, Serena, it's not the grunting women who are being underpaid in tennis - it's the men!

KATIE HOPKINS: Sorry, Serena, it's not the grunting women who are being underpaid in

Last year's Men's Wimbledon Final took three hours to play and was watched by 9.2 million people. Less than half that number tuned in to see Serena Williams (pictured left) beat Garbine Muguruza in straight sets - which took less time than it takes for me to get my highlights done, writes KATIE HOPKINS. So the CEO of Indian Wells was NOT wrong to point out the disparity between the two sexes, suggesting the lady players of the WTA should get on their knees every night to thank Nadal and Federer for carrying the game. As with all public figures who lose their bottle after speaking their mind, he has subsequently apologised for his remarks, acknowledging them to be in poor taste. But his basic premise is correct. Female tennis players do not deserve to get the same prize money as the men. They don't earn it. So they shouldn't be paid it.
