Adele has been left in turmoil after she was hacked by a crazed fan who posted private photos, including one of a baby scan, online.

The singer, 27, is already highly protective over her private life.

And the intimate photos showing snapshots of her family life and youth have reportedly left the star 'angry' and 'upset'.

The stolen images show precious moments such as her newborn son snuggled in blankets, pregnancy photos of her in her home and a photo of her as a child sticking her tongue out at the bottom of a playground slide.

An image of her five-month scan for her son, Angelo, 3, was also posted on Facebook.

It is believed that hackers accessed the treasured moments through the email of Adele's partner, Simon Konecki, 41.

The images were initially circulated on a privately run Facebook group for Adele 'mega-fans'.

However, the photos sparked outrage and one member even contacted Adele's management to alert them of the security breach, last week.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, the whistle-blowing fan, said: 'I was appalled and upset for Adele when I saw the pictures. They are really private and should not be passed around.

'I think it is disgusting that her so-called fans were sending them around and I thought it should be stopped. They are way too private, especially the scan and picture of her when she was pregnant.

'If Adele wanted to share these pictures I am sure she would. It would be up to her if she wants intimate pictures like this shown around the world.'

The Someone Like You singer has already admitted that some aspects of fame terrify her and she prefers to keep her private life out of the public eye.

An industry source told The Sun on Sunday that Adele believes there should be limits when it comes to sharing feelings with fans and that she would be 'angry' and 'upset' about the incident.

For, although she gives heartfelt performances on stage, the singer prefers to hide her own emotions.

It is believed that she would have contacted her management about the incident straight away.

The MailOnline contacted the police for more information.

However, it is unclear whether the security breach was reported to to the force.

The news comes just two days after Adele announced that she would be headlining this year's Glastonbury Festival.
