There was plenty of speculation that the queen of pop would bring pop princess Kylie Minogue on stage during her first Sydney concert, as part of her Rebel Heart tour, on Saturday night. 

But Madonna surprised fans as she welcomed Game Of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie on the platform during her performance at Allphones Arena.

The British actress, 37, towered over the songstress as they chatted on stage where the queen of pop announced that her guest was the 'unapologetic b****' for the night.

Surprise: The songstress had been teasing fans the last few days that she would do a duet with Kylie Minogue during her Rebel Heart tour

'You know why I love you? Because you're a tough b****', the singer proclaimed before she offered her statuesque celebrity guest a drink. 

She went on to add: 'I've heard people say you're a bit rough... let's have a toast, I've got no idea what's in here but I hope it's alcohol,'

'I love alcohol - no I love you, cheers b****!' the blonde performer exclaimed as they made a toast with what appeared to be bananas.

As they continued to play up their antics to the crowd Madonna stopped and turned to her guest and said: 'I've got another song to do I can't drink oh sh*t Gwendaline can I give you both of my bananas?' 

The women continued their playful banter on stage and turned their jewelled banana flasks as telephones. 

Gwendoline picked hers up and said 'Hello?' to which Madonna replied in the same way and picked hers up and said: 'Hello, I want to f*** you'. 

To which Gwendoline cheekily replied: 'Right back at you'.

'Let's get drunk first', Madonna said to Gwendoline before belting out the lyrics of her next hit.

She then poked a bit of fun at herself and said: 'You don't need to know all of my personal business, I don't want to be accused of having a melt down.'

It is believed that since her final two shows of her Rebel Heart Tour are being recorded for a DVD, the star is making an effort to be punctual.
