Amy Adams looks effortlessly elegant as she wraps up in a chic black coat for night out in London with pals

She's had a jet-set few weeks promoting her new movie around the globe.

But Amy Adams wasn't about to let a touch of jet lag dampen her party spirit, as she hit London celeb hotspot the Chiltern Firehouse on Monday night, the evening after walking the red carpet for the premiere of her new film Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Amy, 41, wrapped up in a smart black coat as she left the nightspot, but she couldn't hide her huge grin.

Amy was helped out of the venue by a male pal who kept a tight grip of her hand.

The actress looked effortlessly elegant, with a midi-length black skirt peeking out from under her cover-up.

She kept warm in a chic black coat belted at the waist, teamed with towering platform heels.

The actress' distinctive red locks were styled into voluminous side-swept waves while the star highlighted her porcelain complexion with dark eye makeup and a touch of blusher.  

Amy stopped to sign autographs for a large crowd of fans gathered outside before heading back to her London base.

Amy, who is reprising her role as Lois Lane in the movie, looked simply sensational as she opted for a perilously plunging black gown while her husband sported a T-shirt in support of the flick. 

The star initially played Lois Lane in 2013 Superman flick, Man Of Steel and director Zack Snyder praised her at the time of casting, saying: 'Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful.'

At the London premiere she posed up a storm with Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman in the movie.

Standing alongside both Wonder Woman and Lois, was the main men, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, who play Batman and Superman respectively.
