Where's the chauffeur when you need him? Beatrice and Eugenie look lost as they stop to check their phones while out shopping in New York

  • Princesses Eugenie, 25, and Beatrice, 27, were shopping in New York
  • The sisters appeared to get lost and consulted their GPS for help
  • Beatrice is now based in the city while Eugenie lived in New York last year

Even a royal relies on GPS from time to time if the Princesses of York are anything to go by.

Beatrice, 27, and Eugenie, 25, were spotted enjoying a spot of shopping together in the Soho district of New York.

However, their retail therapy was interrupted when the pair stopped to check their location on their mobile phones to help navigate their way around the city.

Beatrice wrapped up against the chill in a casual outfit of a plaid shirt, quilted black jacket and black fur-trimmed ankle boots.

The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson went make-up free for the outing.

Meanwhile Eugenie wore an oversized black coat with a graphic-print dress.

The princess chose a Chloe khaki tassled bag and topped off her ensemble with a bowler hat to add a quirky edge.

Show off in Chloé like Princess Eugenie

Princess Eugenie was spotted with her sister out and about in New York’s Soho, seemingly enjoying some retail teraphy as princesses often do! The gorgeous brunette had teamed her chic low-key outfit with a grey saddle bag from Chloé which completed her look in a luxurious way. So boho chic!

Grey is spring’s trending colour, so what better way to incorporate it into your every-day closet than to your bag? Channel Eugenie and go for a boho theme, which just looks fab with everything form your biker jacket to your jeans. Grey is more fun than black yet more sturdy than white – the perfect choice for a spring handbag if you ask us!

Eugenie’s bag from Chloé comes with a juicy price tag, but this bag will propel you to Instagram fame in just minutes (right). If you’re holding on to your pennies, but keen on what the high street has to offer then scroll below for bargain prices!

Eugenie, who was appointed by upmarket gallery Hauser & Wirth in July last year, mixed business with pleasure and picked up several art history books during the sisters' day out.

But the younger sister was reportedly ticked off for her extended absences, which saw her take 25 days holiday in her first ten weeks on the job.

The royal visited Beatrice who is based in the city after she was rumoured to have landed a job with a New York-based fashion investment company.

Her new opportunity came after she completed a finance course at university in San Francisco.

Eugenie, who lived in the Big Apple last year while working for art auction house Paddle8, seemed to have forgotten the streets already with both sisters consulting their iPhones for help.

Beatrice had made several purchases from fitness-wear brand Sweaty Betty and is known for her love of exercise.

She was the first royal to complete the London Marathon in 2010 and overhauled her diet and fitness regime to become trim and healthy when she was aged 18.
