'I don't know what to. If I give myself up I'll end up in a cell': Suicide bomber left note in a bin before blowing himself up in airport - as police reveal 'the man in white' is STILL on run

Brussels bomber was arrested in Turkey and deported BACK to Belgium

Belgium's federal prosecutor today revealed that Brussels bombmaker Najim Laachraoui (left and centre) - known as the 'Man in White' is still on the run. This morning Belgian media reported that the ISIS explosives expert was taken alive by a SWAT team inside a pizzeria in the Anderlecht suburb of the city, hours after police said he helped carry out the attacks that killed 34 yesterday. However the chief prosecutor has now said he was never in custody after he slipped the net following the bombing attacks at Brussels Airport and is still at large. The latest twist came after Belgian brothers Ibrahim (top right and bottom right) and Khalid El Bakraoui (top right image on the left) were named as two of the ISIS suicide bombers - eight days after they escaped police in a gunfight. Laachraou left a suitcase bomb and walked out of the terminal moments before 14 died at 8am yesterday. Laachraoui was already one of the world's most wanted men, having built the suicide vests that helped kill 130 in Paris last November, and went on the run with Salah Abdeslam before hiding in Brussels for four months. All of the men were 'well known' to police and had been on the run following a shoot-out in a terrorist hideout in the Belgian capital's Forest suburb last Tuesday. In another twist, police are now hunting for a fourth bomber (bottom right image on the left) who accompanied Ibrahim El Bakraoui during the airport attack. Police said Khalid El Bakraoui (top right image on the left) was responsible for the Metro bombing which killed 20.

Brussels weeps for its dead: Hundreds remember 34 victims killed in terror attacks

Tears spilled today as friends, family and strangers gathered in solidarity today at Brussel's main square to hold vigil for their loved ones lost in yesterday's terror attacks. In heartbreaking images, a mother - known only as Sonia - held her two young children close as she wept for the victims at the city's Place de la Bourse (main). But Brussels remained defiant today as mourners broke out in a round of applause after the minute's silence held this morning at 11am. The square has become a focal point for Belgians to unite and show solidarity against the ISIS terrorists who brought carnage to their city.

Who is the FOURTH bomber? Mystery of jihadist pictured next to the 'man in white'

Mystery over Brussels airport jihadist pictured alongside 'man in white'

Belgian prosecutors today revealed that one of the El Bakraoui brothers initially believed to have blown himself up at Brussels Airport was actually the suicide attacker who struck at the Metro station. That means one of the suspects seen on airport CCTV moments before the blasts is an as-yet unidentified militant. That man, seen on the left of three jihadis pushing their trolleys through the check-in area, was this morning reported to be Khalid El Bakraoui. But now investigators revealed Khalid died at the subway station, where sources say he may have detonated two devices almost simultaneously, killing 20 commuters.

Donald Trump slams Muslims for failing to report suspicious activity within their own communities but Britain's Home Secretary Theresa May says he's 'plain wrong'

'Donald Trump slams Muslims for failing to report suspicious activity

The US Republican presidential candidate said it was 'a disgrace' that a suspect behind last year's Paris attacks had been found after a long manhunt by police in an area of Brussels where he lived. Mr Trump, who wants a ban on Muslims entering the US, condemned the 'outrageous' attacks on the Brussels airport and metro and said he would 'hit ISIS so hard you wouldn't believe it'. Speaking to ITV's Good Morning Britain, Mr Trump said: 'When they see trouble they have to report it, they are not reporting it, they are absolutely not reporting it and that's a big problem.' But UK Home Secretary Theresa May rejected Mr Trump's criticism, dismissing his argument as 'absolutely not the case'. She said police must work with Muslim communities - as they do in Britain - to 'ensure that everything we do is about uniting our communities and not about dividing them'. In the interview by DailyMail.com U.S. Editor-at-Large Piers Morgan, Mr Trump told of his fury that Paris bombings Salah Abdeslam had been living in a Brussels neighbourhood for four months.

PIERS MORGAN: When it comes to terror, isn't it time we started listening seriously to Trump?

While Obama is 'leading from behind' in foreign policy Trump has a real plan to tackle terror - several in fact.

KATIE HOPKINS: To hell with #solidarity. If Europe is willing to accept that Muslim terror is simply the new normal we can't afford to stay part of it

KATIE HOPKINS: To hell with #solidarity

It strikes me, instead of normalising terror, instead of accepting that an attack on the UK is inevitable, and instead of the Belgian president announcing 'What we knew would happen has happened', we need leaders who when they stand up and say 'Never again' actually mean it and come up with solutions, writes KATIE HOPKINS. The Managing Editor of Channel 4 News tweeted me last night, asking if I would share a picture of the people of Belgium chalking words of defiance in the public square (pictured right) as if they were all suddenly infantilised by their impotence. I refused. Because, you see, you are not standing up to terror. You are normalising it. On June 23 we really do have the opportunity - probably our last - to say never again. To get out, once and for all.

Murdered schoolgirl Paige Doherty may have been killed elsewhere by sex attacker then dumped by the road, say police as best friend pays emotional tribute

Murdered schoolgirl Paige Doherty’s ‘bestest friend’ pays emotional tribute

The detective leading the hunt for 15-year-old Paige's killer said he was not ruling out a sexual motive to the shocking murder. He said it was feasible that 4ft 8 Paige - hailed as 'our beautiful girl' by her devastated mother- was killed somewhere else and then dumped in bushes by the busy main road. Lauren Mills, who is believed to be one of the last people to see Paige alive, posted a heartbreaking message to her 'wee villain' and 'bestest friend'. The 15-year-old vanished on her way to collect her wages from her Saturday hairdressing job after staying for the night at Lauren's. Her body was found dumped in a bush in Clydebank, near Glasgow, a mile from where she was due to get on a bus. A frantic search was launched after her mother Pamela Munro, 32, reported her missing and fears grew when there was no sign of the popular teenager over the weekend. Police have since launched a murder inquiry and have appealed for witnesses.
