Fans around the world were devastated when Motörhead founder and frontman Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister died aged 70 last December.

And The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus has decided to pay tribute to the late rocker by getting a tattoo tribute in his honour, joined by Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds.

'Just did a funny little Lemmy tattoo on Norman Reedus @bigbaldhead', they wrote.

The actor confessed his favourite joke while filming the zombie apocalypse show is to sneak into Andrew's car and surprise him.

'He was trying to plot, but he’s really bad at it to be honest', Norman explained during an appearance on The Late Late Show.

'So the last day of shooting for this latest season, he walked into his trailer and I’d filled it full of chickens.'
