Jenna meanwhile has been portraying Lucy Lane in a recurring role in the CBS show Supergirl.

The couple earlier this year competed against each other in an epic episode of Lip Sync Battle.

The new dancing competition will be NBC's first entry in the genre following the success of other unscripted network shows such as America's Got Talent, The Voice and American Ninja Warrior.
