EXCLUSIVE: 'I don't want to see TOWIE become the Megan show': Vicky Pattison warns drama queen McKenna could overshadow her new cast mates

Megan McKenna has caused a stir since joining the TOWIE cast, clashing with everyone from Chloe Sims to Kate Wright.

And fellow reality star Vicky Pattison has admitted it would be a shame if 'firecracker' Megan's addition to the ITVBe series came at the expense of the ensemble nature of the show.

The 28-year-old TV veteran and resident Queen Of The Jungle warned: 'She’s going to be very good for TOWIE, she’s going to cause a lot of drama. But I don’t want to see it become the Megan McKenna show.

'I love her personally, but TOWIE's an ensemble cast and I just hope it stays that way. Not one person can hold an entire series.

'The show didn’t crumble when Mark Wright left, Geordie Shore didn’t crumble when I left. I just hope everyone’s mindful of that.'

Vicky - who starred alongside Megan on Ex On The Beach 3, where they both vied for the attention of muscular hunk Stephen Bear - has no hard feelings towards Megan, however, who shares the same fiery nature Vicky famously exhibited during her Geordie Shore days.

The Loose Women regular - who turned her back on Geordie Shore almost two years ago in a bid to pursue other career opportunities - is glad her wild days are behind her.

'I do see them all kick off and I think, "I couldn’t do that anymore!" I've turned my back on shouting and screaming on the TV', she said.

Despite now being based in Essex and counting the likes of Jessica Wright, Ferne McCann and Danielle Armstrong among her close pals, fans shouldn't expect to see the Newcastle native making a cameo on TOWIE anytime soon.

She explained: 'I've watched TOWIE for years, it’s always been my favourite reality show.

'A lot of my friends have left now. It's not the same. The new cast members are younger.'
