They recently relocated to Los Angeles to start a new life together.

And it seems Stephen Fry, 58, and his husband Elliott Spencer, 28, are certainly enjoying the American lifestyle, taking a leisurely walk around Beverly Hills on Monday and sporting slightly more rounder figures.

The TV favourite and the comedian looked perfectly in sync as they hit the shops for a spot of retail therapy.

Stephen was casually clad in a mauve polo shirt and jeans, setting off the look with a lightweight blazer.

Elliott - who is 30 years Fry's junior - rocked a checked shirt with a hood as the pair wandered around the shops.

The pair tied the knot in January 2015 following a whirlwind romance and have been inseparable ever since.

Stephen and Elliott recently snapped up a 1.8million pad high in the exclusive Hollywood Hills.

The couple's three-bedroom, three-bathroom house is so showbiz it's even got views of the iconic Hollywood sign.

The 3,800 sq ft property also comes with a hot tub and spa, a swimming pool and nearly half an acre of land.

Fry and Spencer bought the Twenties Spanish-style home in their joint names in November last year.

Spencer confirmed this week the couple were moving to LA full-time, reportedly saying that he and Fry, who also have homes in London and Norfolk, are 'excited about having a new base'.

Spencer is applying for a green card so he can pursue his comedy work in America.

Meanwhile, Fry plans to spend the spring months in LA working on a writing project.
