Doting dad Louis Tomlinson displays his strong paternal bond as he kisses baby son Freddie in precious family snap

Louis Tomlinson has been pictured kissing his two-month-old son Freddie Reign Tomlinson.

Giving fans a second insight into his paternal bond with the baby, the 24-year-old cuddled the little one close before showering him with love.

The One Direction singer's mother Johannah Deakin shared the precious father-son snap as he continues to share the little one's time with ex-flame Brianna Jungwirth.

Briana and Louis welcomed their first child in January and have continued to co-parent Freddie in Los Angeles.

The musician was recognisable from his full sleeve of tattoos and distinctive, messy rock and roll hair do. 

Freddie had obviously grown quite a bit from the first time the tot was pictured and wore elasticated trousers with a dark, long-sleeved top.

One Direction's Louis introduced the child via Twitter in the days after the birth, and used a strikingly similar black and white picture to do so.

'Meet my little lad, Freddie,' Louis said of the cute newborn, who was dressed in a striped baby romper suit and curled into a little ball as he lies on Louis' bare chest. 

Louis and Briana, who shared a brief tryst last spring, have reportedly been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their newborn son.

Last month, it was reported that the pair had reached a 'temporary custody settlement,' in which it is said to have been specified that Louis only visit Freddie at Briana's LA home, alone.

It has since been alleged that a major condition of the agreement is preventing Louis' new girlfriend, actress Danielle Campbell from having access to the baby boy. 

According to TMZ, Briana is concerned about another woman interacting with her child and interfering with the 'critical bonding period' between mother and son.

While Louis - who lost his grandfather Keith last week - hopes to spend time with Freddie in his Los Angeles home with Danielle present, 24-year-old Briana is said to be determined that the pop star only visit Freddie at her house, alone.
