A statement by Live Nation read: 'Due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects, The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her upcoming international Anti World Tour.'

Meanwhile, a source has claimed the 'unforseen circumstances' relate to the fact Abęl, 26, is in the midst of producing his new album and does not want to lose focus.

'[Abęl] has hit a stride on his new album and decided not to interrupt the process,' the insider told Billboard.

The musician - who is dating 19-year-old model Bella Hadid - was booked to join Rihanna in Amsterdam on June 17 when her ANTI tour travels from America to Europe.

While Abęl has not acknowledged the update on social media, he alluded to it in a tweet, posted in the early hours of Wednesday morning, which read: 'It's my job to make music... not to convince you.'

Rihanna's world tour is in full swing and has received rave reviews so far but she was upstaged somewhat by a talented singer in the front row at one of her gigs at the weekend.

She was blown away when she held the microphone to a fan, who has been identified as Terah Stewart, instructing him to sing a segment of FourFiveSeconds during her show at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Stewart held nothing back as he stunned both the crowd and the star of the show with his killer vocals during the impromptu sing-a-long which went viral.

Bag a blazer in brown like Rihanna

Rihanna is back on tour and is clearly killing it. Not only is her material great, her style and attitude is what helped make her a star. And now that's she's a household name across the world, designers are eager to custom make her outfits for her ANTI world tour.

The closing look in this brown suit is by Y/PROJECT who made the outfit for RiRi especially (click right to find out more about the brand). She paired it with a custom leather corset by LA ROXX and shoes by Manolo Blahnik.

A brown blazer and trousers is an unusual color choice which is why we like it. And although you cannot get Rihanna's exact outfit, why not shop our round up of blazers below in a similar hue?

We've found options by Calvin Klein, AllSaints and Nasty Gal, so you really are spoiled for choice and none of our options will stretch your credit card too far either.
