Uneasy rider! The Rock wraps his muscular arms tightly around Zac Efron as they zoom about Baywatch set on bright pink scooter

They've been seen swinging from ropes and having tire flipping contests on the set of the Baywatch movie reboot.

But Zac Efron and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson enjoyed a less strenuous activity on Monday, as they filmed scenes in Miami, Florida.

The two actors goofed around while shooting scenes in which they were seen riding a pink scooter around, which was attached to a camera dolly.

Zac, 28, was clad in a pink T-shirt with ripped jeans, black trainers and slicked back hair, and at one point was spotted with a skateboard tucked under his arm.

Meanwhile The Rock sported colourful printed swimming trunks along with a tight-fitting white shirt and grey trainers.

The 43-year-old may be known for his tough guy roles, but he showed a much softer side for this particular scene.

He was seen sporting a baby pink helmet and goggles, and wrapping his incredibly muscular arms around Zac, acting as though he was scared.

The heartthrobs have been getting along great during filming and were seen chatting away in between takes.

The following day, Zac was seen filming with Alexandra Daddario, who portrays Summer Quinn (played by Nicole Eggert).

He also posted an Instagram photo on Wednesday which showed him meeting David Hasselhoff, who famously portrayed Mitch Buchannon in the TV series from 1989 to 2000.

'Getting schooled. Wisdom from the original #Baywatch badass himself @davidhasselhoff What an honor to meet #TheHOFF,' Zac wrote alongside the snapshot of them chatting on the beach.

The Rock - who is portraying Mitch in the reboot - also made sure to take a photo with the 63-year-old, who filmed some scenes for the movie, although it's unclear what his part will be.

Zac and The Rock have been filming the reboot of the popular TV show alongside Kelly Rohrbach, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra and Hannibal Buress in Miami since last month.

Meanwhile Kelly is filling Pamela Anderson's shoes as CJ Parker and Quantio star Priyanka, who was named Miss World in 2000, is the movie's villain Victoria Leeds.

Zac is looking buffer than ever for the movie, and The Rock praised him earlier this month for his dedication to rigorous workouts for the role.

Sharing a photo to Instagram which showed them taking part in 'a tire shrugging contest that lasted for hours', The Rock wrote: 'Juuuuuust wait til you see the insane shape my boy Efron got in for our movie.

'Proud of the hard work he put in. That's the way you make a character "Iconic". I still kicked his candy a** though in this contest.' 

The film is due to be released on May 19, 2017, 28 years after the TV series first hit the air.
