Editors’ Notes
A decade into her career, Rihanna remains a hypnotic presence. Brooding, erotic, and deceptively diverse, ANTI coolly jumps from oozing slow jams (“Kiss it Better”) to bubbling pop confections (the futurist dancehall-lite Drake collaboration “Work”) to serrated experiments (the vaguely industrial “Woo”) and throwback comfort food (“Love on the Brain,” “Higher”). As always, her voice remains the star, with charisma pouring like smoke out of the speakers.

Unprecedented for Rihanna
In the scheme of Rihanna's discography, there's really no precedent for this album. A typical Rihanna album is dominated by a few strong banger singles, and a fair bit of filler to bulk out the album. However ANTi has no obvious "smash hit," but on the other hand is a consistent, intriguing album. I suspect she'll both win and lose some fans as a result, and it seems she's finally done away with appealing to pop and mainstream radio. (Though her name alone & the anticipation for this album will ensure some levels of success)
BORING
This album is SOOO Boring the only song I feel was different is the last 2 deluxe trcks and The guitar one. CL is going slay this album.
Masterpiece
This album was worth the 3 year wait, Rihanna wasn't catering to the pop radio with this album which is really great and refreshing, great songs, best (in my opinion) - Same Ol' Mistakes
