And despite being a highly-acclaimed professional actor, Amy Adams was left a little hot under the collar when she came face-to-face with a shirtless Henry Cavill.

The Hollywood beauty - who reprised her role as Lois Lane in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - revealed on Thursday's edition of The Project that her first reaction was to kiss the British heartthrob’s bare chest.

‘Henry had to take his shirt off and I didn’t know what to do,’ she explained to Peter Helliar. ‘I’m just sitting there and he looks like that and I kissed his belly.

‘It was the weirdest [thing] - why would I take that choice in that moment? I was mortified, I was like "Henry I’m so sorry".’

The star is currently on a worldwide promotional tour, her latest appearance was alongside her co-stars at the European premiere of the blockbuster in London this week.
