Kanye's mini me! North West, 2, adds piano lessons to her schedule as she follows in her rapper father's musical footsteps

With classes in karate, ballet, tap dancing and music, North West has plenty to keep her busy.

But the two-year-old just added another activity to her schedule - piano lessons.

Following in her father Kanye West's musical footsteps, the youngster sat down to learn how to play the instrument on Thursday.

In a video posted to her mother Kim Kardashian's Snapchat the youngster could be seen being taught the basics.

Perhaps too short for the bench Nori, as she is known, perched on a chair in front of the instrument, her hair tied back in a bun.

Some sheet music was open in front of her, but that may be beyond little North - who instead listened attentively to her teacher.

Whatever you think of her father, there is no denying that Kanye's music has proved hugely successful.

However despite being one of the best selling artists of all time, the star is not a classically trained musician.

While he can pick out a tune on a piano he prefers to employ more accomplished players to work on his tracks.

Perhaps by starting so early, if North preserves with her lessons she may one day be able to help her father out.
