'And suddenly all is right': Lea Michele cuddles up to BFF Jonathan Groff for bed selfie... as former Glee co-star helps her through new heartbreak

Lea Michele is finding solace in the company of an old friend following her split from boyfriend of two years Matthew Paetz.

The Scream Queens actress, 29, was said to have been 'completely crushed' at the demise of the romance, but now seems to be bouncing back with help from her pals.

And on Friday she posted a sweet selfie on Instagram showing her and former Glee co-star Jonathan Groff, 30, giggling as they cuddled up in bed together.

'And suddenly all is right,' Lea wrote alongside the photo.

The two have been best friends for years and have stood by each other through thick and thin.

And Jonathan was there to provide a shoulder to lean on following the death of her boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith in July 2013, and now appears to be doing the same post her break-up with Matthew.

Lea and Jonathan first met when they were both cast in the Broadway musical Spring Awakening in late 2006.

They reunited on TV when he was chosen to play her love interest Jesse St. James on Glee.

Jonathan came out as gay in October 2009 and is currently back on Broadway in the hit musical Hamilton.

Lea, meanwhile, is getting ready to film a second season of Scream Queens for Fox.

Back in 2014, the pair spoke about their close friendship to Teen Vogue.

'In this lifetime, if there is anything you need, it's a best friend,' the actress told the magazine.

'Since Glee, she has inspired people across the world with her unapologetic ambition, insane talent, and astonishing grace. Me, especially,' Jonathan explained.
