Young girl killed after high winds blow a bouncy castle 150m across a park 

A girl, thought to be seven years old, has died after a bouncy castle was blown 150m across a park in Essex by strong winds during an Easter fair. Emergency services were called at 4.15pm and two ambulances and an air ambulance (top right) arrived at the park, treating the girl on the ground before she was rushed to hospital. She is confirmed to have later died from the extent of her injuries. Two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence, according to Essex Police. Footage of the immediate aftermath of the incident shows what appears to be the bouncy castle being towed away (circled inset) on a trailer.

A south Georgia teacher has resigned after surveillance video appears to show her knocking a special needs student to the ground in a school hallway. The incident happened at the Tift County Pre-K Center in Tifton on March 17. The surveillance footage shows a four-year-old boy with a backpack on standing near an open doorway to a classroom as Amelia Stripling picks up some items from behind the door. She then proceeds to enter the classroom, but forcefully knocks her left knee into the back of the little boy sending him to the floor (pictured left and right). Strippling (inset) has since resigned from the school and the boy's mother has obtained a lawyer.
