'Guess where I'm going?' Victoria's Secret beauty Shanina Shaik teases fans about next modelling destination as she shares Instagram selfies from luxury airport lounge

She's the globetrotting lingerie model who has walked the catwalks for major fashion labels, such as Victoria's Secret and Bonds.

But Melbourne-born Shanina Shaik kept fans guessing this week about her next runway or photo shoot destination, as she posted several cryptic selfies while en route to the airport.

The 25-year-old - who is also a brand ambassador for Australian retail giants Myer - posed for a sultry snap from the back of a taxi and later shared another image from a luxury departures lounge.

Shanina - who is of mixed Lithuanian, Pakistani and Saudi Arabian heritage - began dropping hints on Saturday as she shared a photo with her 693,000 Instagram followers from her vehicle.

In the photo, the Harper's Bazaar Australia cover girl gently sips on a red smoothie while resting the drink straw on her plump lips, ensuring her engagement bling is front and centre.

Wearing her brunette hair loosely, she looked every inch the professional poser while arching her eyebrows and gazing dreamily into the distance. 

She was effortlessly chic in a Chanel vintage blazer over a simple, white T-shirt - and accessorised with a teardrop necklace from Revolve.

Later, Shanina updated her Instagram page with an additional snap - which appeared to have been taken at a first-class lounge while she was awaiting a flight.

Shanina - who is engaged to DJ Ruckus, aka Gregory Andrews - also lived up to her reputation as a style-conscious traveller with her collection of luxury accessories.

The supermodel took a photo of her lavish personal passport holder spread out on a glass-top table, with her initials 'SS' embossed in gold.

Rumours: Fans have speculated Shanina is en route to Dubai - a city which holds a special place in her heart as she previously holidayed there with fiance DJ Ruckus (right) over the new year following their engagement

Ever the fashionista, she kept up to date with her high-profile industry by reading a copy of the April edition of Vogue magazine - which featured pop star Rihanna on the cover in a sequined gown from Tom Ford's spring collection.

But it was Shanina's luxury Céline leather handbag that really stole the show, enjoying pride of place among her belongings.

Meanwhile, she challenged fans to guess her destination by captioning the image: 'Guess where I'm going?' 

She also added the hash-tag: 'always on a plane'.

Several of her Instagram followers enjoyed speculating her whereabouts, and concluded that it would seem she was sitting in an Emirates lounge. 

It remains to be seen whether Shanina is, in fact, en-route to Dubai - however, there is no doubt the opulent city in the United Arab Emirates holds a special place in her heart.

Shortly after becoming engaged to DJ Ruckus in the Bahamas on Boxing Day last year, the happy couple flew to dazzling Dubai to ring in the New Year.
