Reeling from Toni Kroos' goal before the break, England fell further behind after Mario Gomez's effort. But Harry Kane's strike breathed life into the Three Lions, and after Jamie Vardy scored a corker with his first touch, it was left to Eric Dier to nod home in the 91st minute to put the gloss on a heartening display.
