So it was little surprise that Kate Hudson pulled out all the stops for her appearance at Lady Gaga's star-studded 30th birthday party in Los Angeles, on Saturday night.

Arriving at the Poker Face signer's star-studded party at No Name restaurant, the 36-year-old actress looked incredible in a plunging black gown which allowed her to show plenty of skin.

Taking the plunge at THE party: Kate Hudson pulled out all the stops for her appearance at Lady Gaga's star-studded 30th birthday party in Los Angeles, on Saturday night.

The Something Borrowed star opted for a suitably swish outfit for the globe-conquering chart-topper's big event, donning an understatedly stylish yet racy number.

Making sure that she turned plenty of heads in her evening wear, Goldie Hawn's stunning daughter donned a floor-length, layered black dress.

The daring garment featured a plunging neckline which allowed the tanned California-native to showcase her decolletage, whilst also allowing her to flash more than a hint of her cleavage.

Showing off her endless legs, the blonde bombshell had opted for a high-cut black maxi dress teamed with a fluid, silk trench from Rachel Allegra. Casual but chic, just how we love it!

But never one to shy away from flaunting her lean and lithe pins, the garment also featured a thigh-high slash in it's sheer hemline.

She teamed the billowing black number with a pair of peep-toe, platform heels - also in black - which only served to accentuate her fantastic frame, in a subtle manner.

But keeping a seasonally sensible edge to her look Kate threw on a metallic stripy overcoat, which contrasted perfectly against her all-black ensemble.
