'It's not part of my life': Renee Zellweger says she doesn't pay attention to remarks about her changing appearance

Renee Zellweger says she doesn't care what people say about her changing look because she doesn't take notice of it.

The actress, 46, told Today on Friday: 'It's not really part of my life. It's part of the job, that I don't really experience except when I step into this arena.

'In my home I'm not aware of it. I don't do any kind of social media, so I don't see it. I like to have.... I guess you would call them, real experiences.'

Renee caused headlines when she appeared in 2014 to have dramatically changed her face.

At the time, she dismissed the speculation as 'silly.'

And NBC's flagship morning show revisited the controversy by showing a then-and-now comparison of  how she looked around the time the first Bridget Jones movie was released in 2001, and how she looks now.

Meanwhile, Renee revealed little new about the third installment in the Bridget franchise during her latest promotional appearance in support of the comedy that is slated for release in September.

The new trailer confirms that she does get pregnant - hence the name of the movie Bridget Jones's Baby - and that the famous singleton doesn't know who the father is.

She's also seen in a bridal gown being walked down the aisle by her father, played by Jim Broadbent.

Colin Firth also returns as Mark Darcy, and since Hugh grant passed on making a third film, a new character Jack, played by Patrick Dempsey, is brought in.

Such is the secrecy surrounding the storyline, the principal actors had to shoot three different endings.

'They kept us guessing, yeah,' Renee said. 'Because you never know, people with cell phones and talking.... and I might slip up and tell my mom, 'Oh you know when she ends up with...'' she explained.

'I don't know what they're going to do,' she insisted.
