She turned 40 earlier this week, and Reese Witherspoon showed that she just gets better with age as she stepped out on Friday following the celebrations.

The actress was seen leaving her office in Beverly Hills, and she was her own best advert in a piece from her Draper James collection.

Reese showed off her long and slender legs in a thigh-grazing blue and white printed skirt that retails for $225, which she wore with a long-sleeved white top.

The mother-of-three gave her petite frame a boost in a pair of yellow heeled pumps, which coordinated well with her yellow and white handbag.

Reese had her blonde locks styled straight, and also wore several pieces of gold jewellery and a pair of retro pale pink wayfarer sunglasses.

The Wild star, who was talking on the phone while leaving the building, finished off her look with rosy blusher and bold red lipstick.

Reese celebrated in style ahead of her 40th birthday on Tuesday, throwing a star-studded party on Sunday night at Warwick in Hollywood.

Reese Witherspoon wears a lot of labels, but clearly her favorite is her own mark, Draper James. Literally spotted in her own designs several times per week, the savvy business woman knows the paps will snap her in her own designs, women will want to emulate her and the sales will rack up. Taylor Swift even performed her hit song Shake It Off during the evening, before Reese took to the stage herself to sing Sweet Home Alabama.

The star is producing an ABC pilot about a 'ruthless divorce attorney' in Dallas, which will star Anna Paquin as the central character, with Grey's Anatomy's T.R. Knight also appearing in the show.

Reese is set to star in Paul Feig's Wish List, about a woman in her thirties whose life takes a turn when a coin she threw into a magic fountain as a child reaches the bottom.

She will additionally appear opposite Matt Damon, Jason Sudeikis, Alec Baldwin and Neil Patrick Harris in 2017 social satire Downsizing, and voices a character in upcoming animated movie Sing.
