Spend a night with Kendall and Gigi! Model best friends make funny faces and dance around a hotel room during a VERY stylish sleepover, all while wearing Chanel couture 

For most, a sleepover with friends involves sweet treats, scary movies and maybe the odd pillow fight. But for best friends and models Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, a simple slumber party just won't do.

The 20-year-old fashion stars threw a very stylish soiree in a lavish suite at The Plaza in New York, dancing around in Chanel couture, joking with one another, making funny faces, and dining on some delicious dishes, before collapsing into bed. 

Created for Vogue, the video shows the girls at their most happy and carefree - and, despite the beautifully beaded and intricately-embellished designs they are wearing, the duo look more than happy to fool around, leaping on the bed, spinning around on the floor and even hiding behind the curtains.

Strike a pose: Kendall and Gigi turn the hotel suite into their own personal catwalk at various points throughout the clip, pausing to flaunt their couture at the camera

The clip, which was shot by photographer Cass Bird, begins with the two California girls strutting their stuff through the suite, turning the living space into their very own catwalk, on which they are modeling the latest Chanel haute couture. 

While modeling different designs, the girls ensure that each of their varied outfits coordinates perfectly; the first set of ensembles sees Kendall wearing a fitted black dress with a white Peter Pan collar, while Gigi dons a classic Chanel jacket in an ivory shade, which is paired with a black skirt. 

The girls then change into some more extravagant eveningwear, with Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kendall slipping into an intricate white and gold gown with matching white and gold wrist cuffs. 

And of course, partner in crime Gigi complements her perfectly in a white and gold trouser suit - with a coordinating shimmery tulle cape that she seems to enjoy sweeping behind her as she breezes through the swanky suite. 

Their final outfits, which are arguably the most intricate of the evening, consist of a long gold sequin gown for Kendall and a beaded 60s-style long-sleeved red, gold, and white shift dress for Gigi.

Marking her territory? Gigi planted several kisses all over Kendall's face and shoulders, leaving a lot of red lipstick marks on her best friend

Bust a move: The girls both look incredibly relaxed and carefree throughout the clip, dancing around and playing games together

While wearing the beautiful pieces, the girls secret themselves away behind the thick curtains hanging in front of a large window, mischievously whipping the drapes open at various intervals to make different faces at the camera, from happy to sad to angry.

And then they're up again and ready to dance the night away, with both girls jiving in front of the mirror together, pirouetting while hand in hand, before pausing to clap their hands together in a schoolyard-esque fashion. 

At one point, Gigi, the daughter of Real Housewives star Yolanda Foster strikes a pose in the bathroom of the hotel room, later strutting her stuff down the hallway in front of it, before flashing a peace sign at the camera.

Meanwhile Kendall can be seen prancing around in front of the suite's bed, pausing briefly to take a seat on the lavish-looking comforter before jumping up again to continue the evening's festivities. 

At the end of the clip, both girls collapse into bed together - but only for a few moments before Kendall leaps up and urges her friend to do the same.

'This is really bad for our hearts,' she announces, to which Gigi asks, stunned: 'It is? Why?'

'When you jump around and you get your heart racing and then you lay down... it stops,' Kendall continues to explain, prompting her friend to note: 'It's also bad because I'm in a corset and I can't breathe!' 

It is not the first time that Kendall and Gigi have paired up on a project for Vogue; the girls recorded several clips during fashion month, hanging out together backstage, and even recording another evening of frivolity in a hotel room. 

And beyond the film cameras, both of the models have worked within the pages - and on the covers - of various Vogue issues around the world.

Earlier this week, Kendall even landed herself on a cover of the US version of the magazine, following hot on the heels of big sister Kim Kardashian and brother-in-law Kanye West.

Style stars: Kendall and Gigi are incredibly close friends and often appear in fashion shows together, including the Diane von Furstenberg presentation at New York Fashion Week last month (pictured)

However, the starlet can only claim the honour in Los Angeles and in New York as her big front of book debut is on a special subscribers' edition. 

Nevertheless, wowing in a Proenza Schouler bikini in a shot taken by icon Mario Testino with 'Vogue' above your head is nothing to sneeze at and stands testament to the model's continued domination in fashion.

As writer of the April edition - the same month Kim's cover came out in 2014 - Robert Sullivan says in the feature, Kendall is a force to be reckoned with.

The author and Vogue contributor writes: 'Kendall Jenner's arrival in the fashion world isn't quite out of nowhere, and only two years after walking her first Marc Jacobs show, she is less like a player than a small planet, with connections to a universe of celebrities and models and designers, and with about as many followers on Instagram as there are residents of South Korea.'
