They were last seen partying together at the Grammy Awards in February, joined by her boyfriend Calvin Harris.

But best friends Taylor Swift and Lorde ditched the boys and enjoyed a girls' night as they hit Sushi Roku in Los Angeles' Beverly Hills on Friday night.

The singing sensations looked overjoyed at having been reunited for their evening on the town, with each donning their most stylish ensembles for the occasion.

The Bad Blood hit-maker seemed fully aware of the miniature nature of her style as she carefully descended down the steps of the restaurant so as not to suffer a wardrobe malfunction.

Unleashing her wild side, Taylor layered the style beneath a leopard print jacket, extending the rock chick vibe with a studded black clutch bag and skyscraper stilettos with a platform heel.

She's been flaunting her figure in bikinis while on holiday with Calvin Harris recently, but now that she's back on American soil, Taylor Swift is back to hanging out with her girlfriends. Out on a dinner date with BFF Lorde, Taylor rocked a simple yet sophisticated look in a black ruffle mini dress and leopard print coat.

As is so often the case, the singer made this outfit sing (sorry!) with a few wow accessories including a super cute Louis Vuitton mini box clutch bag. The petite malle clutch from the designer label is a much coveted design and has been seen on the likes of Miranda Kerr and Julianne Moore amongst others.
