Seth Meyers and his wife Alexi Ashe have welcomed a baby boy.

The couple confirmed with People that a son was born to them on Sunday but have yet to reveal the name of the child.

Seth, 42, promised to reveal more about the bundle of joy when he returns to his show Late Night on Tuesday.

The SNL alum wed his girlfriend Alexi, 32, in 2013 in Martha's Vineyard after five years of dating.

Alexi is a human rights attorney and this is the couple's first child. 

Seth previously told People: 'I'm most looking forward to seeing who it looks like, that's the first thing out of the gate.'

'Although … a lot of people have said my wife and I look alike, so I think that's the one thing we know, is that the child will look like us. If not, there's a real problem.'

The comedian also revealed that the couple have sought out people with multiple children for advice. 

'First kid people have a checklist [of] a million things long, whereas on their third kid, they basically just tell you, "Look, [babies] are indestructible. You don’t have to worry about it. They’re gonna get bumps and bruises and it’ll be fine."

'So we've been trying to spend more time with people that have multiple children.' 

A week ago, the father-to-be shared a snap of the crib he had just built for his impending arrival.

In the Instagram image his pet dog Frisbee is seen napping in the grey bed and the TV star captioned alongside it: 'My proudest accomplishment'

The duo revealed the pregnancy in November, announcing the news to friends at the American Museum Of Natural History gala.

Late Night airs weeknights at 12:35 ET on NBC.
