Justin Bieber infuriates fans after axing his pricey pre-show meet and greets... because they'll lose plum seats if they take a refund

On Tuesday he announced that he was ending pre-show meet & greets during his recently launched Purpose tour because they left him feeling 'drained.'

But Justin Bieber's fans, who forked out thousands for the honour of his company and a spot close to the stage in the pit, have been offered a very raw deal.

They have learned that if they take the refund offered by his team, they will also lose their plum seats front of house, according to TMZ.

But they will likely have to take the deal because they will find it hard to snap up another ticket.

One person told TMZ that she had looked at other options but found that if she dropped her pit ticket, she would have to fork out at least four times the face value for a perch high up in the house.

That means Beliebers will end up paying anything between $900 and $2,000 for the seat alone if they still want to see the 22-year-old.

And his management won't give them a smaller refund just to keep their spot.

It's little wonder the Grammy winner's normally ardent fans are feeling the pain.

It's not as if Biebs can't afford to give his fans a better deal.

He raked in $80 million last year according to Forbes, which estimated his total net worth at $220 million.

Justin broke the news about his meet & greet decision in an Instagram shot showing him hugging a young fan.

He captioned it: 'Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression.'

The hitmaker wrapped three nights at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday and played Las Vegas on Friday and is due in Fresno on Saturday before moving on to San Diego on Tuesday and beyond.
