Guns, drugs, and sex dominate latest episode of HBO's Girls as Marnie reunites with Charlie for one wild night

Marnie needs only one wild night with her ex to finally part ways with her new husband Desi.

The latest episode of HBO's Girls, titled The Panic In Central Park, sees Marnie (Allison Williams) reunite with the boy who broke her heart, Charlie Dattolo (Christopher Abbott).

After a fight with her now diffident yet overly needy husband (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), the brunette beauty sets off for a walk through New York to blow off some steam.

While strolling through a rougher part of town she is catcalled by some men sitting on a stoop.

But one of the men recognizes Marnie and follows her.

Charlie then invites her to come to a party with him but in response she says: 'I have literally never heard from you since you told me you never loved me and that I would never end up to be anything more than a wife.'

She goes on to declare that he emotionally destroyed her when he left.

'I apologize for that,' he says before revealing, 'I was going through a pretty difficult time... my dad died. He killed himself. He hung himself.'

After she reluctantly agrees, he takes her dress shopping at a thrift store in a wild and spontaneous scene.
