'My mommy's on The Voice!' Alicia Keys' son dances on the beach in celebration after she's named the show's newest judge

She's just been named The Voice's newest judge.

And Alicia Keys' son Egypt couldn't contain his excitement as he celebrated her success in a sweet video posted to Twitter by his proud mother.

Singing 'My mommy's on The Voice,'  the five-year-old dances around the beach in delight, as his father Swizz Beatz films from behind the camera.

Beatz added his own congratulations in the video, which Alicia posted with the comment: 'Awww... My biggest fan'.

The mother-of-two - she also has one-year-old Genesis - was confirmed as the show's newest judge yesterday.

The announcement came just hours after Miley Cyrus officially joined the panel.

The women replace the outgoing Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, making season 11 the first to have gender parity in the hot seats.

They join Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, who have been in place since the show's inception in 2011.

Alicia, 35, previously served as an advisor for Pharrell's group during his season seven debut; Miley makes her debut as the key advisor this week for the current season.

The additions increase the likelihood of the singing competition's first female winning coach.  

Miley, 23, took to Twitter on Friday to confirm the news to the world with a simple, excited statement.

The controversial singer and actress shared a still from this season, clad in a rainbow and tear drop print jumpsuit, featuring a heart panel. 

Season 11 of The Voice gets underway in September.
