League of Ireland side Cobh Ramblers have jokingly denied offering Manuel Pellegrini the manager's job, despite the Manchester City boss being spotted in the Irish town at the weekend.
Pellegrini was enjoying a weekend off in Cobh during the international break, and stopped to pose for a picture with two fans.
But despite the fact the Chilean is set to depart City this summer - with Pep Guardiola ready to take over - Cobh took to Twitter to confirm he would not be completing a switch to Ireland.

They wrote: 'Despite Manuel Pellegrini being spotted in Cobh today, we can confirm that he is not set to join the club.'
The Irish side are currently seventh out of eight in the League of Ireland First Division - the second tier - and lost 2-0 at home against University College Dublin on Saturday.
Pellegrini, meanwhile, will be keeping an eagle eye on his players during the international break in hope City suffer no more injuries ahead of the climax of the season.
The club appear to be out of the Premier League title race, but face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-final early next month.

Pellegrini may be leaving City this summer, but he remains open to staying in the Premier League, should the right offer arise.
'It depends on the mentality of the manager,' he said. 'I always remember when I finished with Real Madrid, I had a lot of different options and I chose Malaga because the project was interesting.
'It doesn't matter which club you are going to, whether it's a big or a small team, it depends on the project of the club and what they want to develop at the club and the players you can bring to the club.'
