And keen to keep things interesting, Ellie Goulding took a gym session outdoors on Tuesday as she honed her core strength on some playground monkey bars.

The 29-year-old singer showed off her impressive upper body power as she held on to two hanging bars and rotated her body through the air.

The Love Me Like You Do hit-maker's athletic figure is highlighted in some skintight fitness gear in the clip as she larks around in a form-fitting grey jumper and cropped leggings.

Her blonde locks are swept into an easy low ponytail while her skin appears to be free of make-up for the training session.

It's no surprise the star was bursting with energy given that she was announced as a performer at this year's highly anticipated Glastonbury Festival 2016.

ZZ Top and Disclosure were also among the newly confirmed acts for the acclaimed music event.

The extended line-up for the festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset was announced on Tuesday morning through a poster on the Glastonbury Twitter account.

Headliners Adele, Coldplay and Muse had already been announced to perform at the festival, which takes place from June 22 to 26.

Though it seems right now Ellie's heart is preoccupied with her recent show at London's O2 Arena.

But it seems her two shows at were not enough, as Ellie gushed on Twitter on Tuesday evening that she would love to play at the venue once more before the year is through.

'Erm I miss the 02... Anyone else? Want to put on another one before end of the year,' she tweeted.
