Jennifer Lopez is usually seen in tight dresses and sky-high heels.

But on Monday the 46-year-old Shades Of Blue actress shrugged off the glamor to enjoy a sushi lunch with her mother Guadalupe Rodriguez at Nobu in Malibu.

This comes just after she told People.com she is often 'worried,' but has learned to love her flaws.

Lopez had on a beige cardigan with black tribal markings over a white V-neck shirt.

On the Vegas singer's arm was a large structured beige purse with red on the side.

The mother-of-two had on mirrored aviator sunglasses and her hair in a messy top knot with no makeup on. They were seen heading to J-Lo's white Bentley.

Her mother looked pretty in a black and white blouse and a gold necklace. She wore her hair short and blonde, and clutched her wallet.

On Tuesday Lopez's interview with Jess Cagle was shared where she admitted that she has a lot on her mind.

When Jess said: 'Only I know that I am...' J-Lo jumped in with, surprisingly, 'worried a lot.'

As for what she has learned to love about herself over the years? 'That I'm flawed,' she said. 'I actually love that part now. I used to hate it because I'm such a perfectionist.'

There was a stellar turn out at the LA Fashion Awards last night with beauties like Gigi and Bella Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley all in attendance.

And what party would be complete without Jennifer Lopez? The pop icon was there to present her styling team, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn with the award for Womenswear Stylist of the year and with her red carpet look they proved just why they were this year's winners.

The beauty also admitted that her favorite subject of conversation is 'boys' and relationships - the ears of Casper Smart, Marc Anthony and Ben Affleck must be ringing.

The hitmaker, who has a Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood's Axis, didn't flinch at personal questions.

Her last meal would be Puerto Rican food with 'my whole family or my kids for sure' and the movie she has watched most is 2004 romance The Notebook, based on the Nicholas Sparks bestseller.
