Kendall Jenner shows her caring side as she comforts boy caught up in crowd as fans swarm reality star in NYC

Kendall Jenner came to the aid of a young boy who got caught up in a crowd of fans trying to get a glimpse of her in New York on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old reality star was leaving a pet store with BFF Hailey Baldwin when a throng of people pressed forward sending the youngster to the ground.

Kendall stopped to comfort the upset child and was seen giving him a hug.

When it comes to Kendall Jenner, even her day-to-day style makes it on our radar. Dressed down skin tight leather leggings and a classic ripped denim jacket, the 20-year-old model spent the day with her BFF Gigi playing with puppies in NYC.

As they exited the store, the crowd that had gathered outside went crazy with fans trying to take pictures of the famous pair.

Unfortunately, the boy was unable to stop himself from being caught up in the excited throng and got pushed around.

Realizing how upset he was, Kendall made sure to reassure the kid that he was alright and held him close for a few touching moments.

Hailey, too, placed a reassuring hand on his back to comfort him as people continued to take photos of what was happening.

Kendall and Hailey, 19, had taken a trip to Citipups where the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin was seen playing with a Corgi pup as the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shopped for accessories.

Both wore similar skintight leather-look pants and hoodies under jackets for their outing that caused quite a commotion. 

Kendall was back in the Big Apple after returning home to California to spend Easter with her extended family.
