Former Mouseketeer Marque Lynche, 34, drank himself to death, reveals medical examiner

Nearly four months after Marque 'Tate' Lynche died age 34 in his Harlem apartment, the New York medical examiner has finally revealed the cause.

According to TMZ, the former Mouseketeer - who starred on The All New Mickey Mouse Club between 1993-1995 - died of 'acute and chronic' alcoholism.

The Florida-born belter was nicknamed 'Tater Tot' by his far more successful contemporaries Ryan Gosling, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake.

Marque made it to the semi-finals on American Idol in 2004 alongside Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson following a Broadway stint as Simba in The Lion King between 2000-2001.

Four months before his untimely death, the former child star was charged with assaulting an NYPD officer after illegally jumping a subway turnstile - reported TMZ.

Daily Mail also uncovered Lynche's 2004 arrest report for possession of a controlled substance (57 Vicodin pills) after making an illegal U-turn in Tampa. 

The R&B crooner was reportedly depressed after his father Marque Sr. passed away in 2014, and his mother Michelle died of pancreatic cancer in 2004.
