After months of speculation and rumors on just when we will see footage from Jurassic World, an insider on the Boxoffice forums has reported it will premier this November on Interstellar. If November sounds familiar to you, it is because extras involved in shooting scenes with the Mosasaur reported that they were told a trailer would likely hit November as well. That had led to some speculation that the trailer would perhaps premiere on blockbuster The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 (November 21st), or Universals own Dumb and Dumber To (November 14th). However, Interstellar makes perfect sense- the film is being produced by Legendary Pictures (who are involved with Jurassic World), and its November 7th opening date means the trailer could also be on the two aforementioned films.
It's important to note that this only a rumor, and although the insider in question has a good track record on information, things are always changing in the movie industry. That said, all early buzz points to us seeing something from Jurassic World this November, and a film such as Chris Nolan's Interstellar seems like the perfect place to show it first. Special thanks to Mulder on Jurassic Park Legacy for pointing out this news first. As always, stay tuned for updates and the latest on Jurassic World!
