The smouldering picture sees the Australian stunner, 25, locked in a close embrace with her handsome beau whilst lying in bed together.

With her raven coloured locks left loose in tousled waves, Shanina allowed her natural beauty to shine through with minimal traces of makeup.

The model and the DJ - whose real name is Greg Andrews - got engaged in the Bahamas over the Christmas period after seven months of dating.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia shortly after the news, Shanina gushed: 'He’s a really amazing guy. We get along so well. We have so much fun together and we understand each other’s work.'

The runway sensation - who is of mixed Lithuanian, Pakistani and Saudi Arabian heritage – confessed she knew straight after the couple's first date that the musician was 'the one'.

'We’d met each other before, we were acquaintances of one another,' she explained of their prior connection, revealing that they met at the Coachella music festival. 'We just got along really well.'

The couple started dating in June last year following Shanina’s split from her on/off boyfriend at the time, fellow model Tyson Beckford, whom she first started dating in 2008.

The Melbourne native propelled into the limelight after she started modelling at the age of eight, she soon went on to campaign for Myer and appeared in a TV commercial for Hyundai.

The star then made her catwalk debut for labels such as Mara Hoffman, Trovata and Shipley & Halmos in 2009 in New York.

Two years later, Shanina became the fifth Australian model to walk for Victoria’s Secret – joining the likes of Miranda Kerr, Jessica Hart, Elyse Taylor, Sarah Stephens and Abbey Lee Kershaw.
