She only jetted into Buenos Aires on Tuesday, but Gwyneth Paltrow was showing no signs of jet lag as she relaxed in the sunshine the following afternoon.

The 43-year-old shared an Instagram photo which showed her cuddling up to her friend Delfina Blaquier, the wife of polo player Nacho Figueras.

'With @delfinablaquier one of my most favorite women... #wearefigueras,' Gwyneth captioned the smiley snapshot.

Fun with friends: Gwyneth Paltrow shared a photo with her pal Delfina Blaquier on Instagram on Wednesday, during a trip to Buenos Aires

The photo showed the actress make-up free and wearing a grey shirt dress as she and Delfina sat on a staircase with a swimming pool behind them.

The previous evening, Gwyneth was spotted keeping a low profile as she made her way to a restaurant for dinner.

The Mortdecai star, who allegedly recently finalised her divorce from Chris Martin, was showing off her legs in a purple floral printed dress and black heeled ankle boots.

Gwyneth had arrived in Argentina earlier in the day, along with her 11-year-old daughter Apple and nine-year-old son Moses.

The children flew with their mother to join their father Chris for some family time while his band Coldplay perform across South America.

The 39-year-old singer has been staying in a hotel with his bandmates and girlfriend Annabelle Wallis.

Last Friday marked two years to the day since Gwyneth and Chris announced via her website Goop that they were 'consciously uncoupling' after 10 years of marriage.

The Iron Man star filed for divorce from the Coldplay frontman a year later in April 2015, and he was served with divorce papers the following month.

However according to The Sun, Chris only recently signed the papers, officially ending their marriage.

A source told the newspaper earlier this week: 'Chris has now signed the divorce papers. There was no underlying reason why he had left them for so long and he was planning to do it eventually.

'There is no bad blood between him and Gwyneth and they remain very close. As ever, their number one priority is their kids.'

The pair will receive joint legal and physical custody of Apple and Moses and are likely to split their assets evenly.

Chris recently reflected on his relationship with Gwyneth - which has remained extremely amicable, with the two stars even enjoying holidays together - during an interview with The Sunday Times.

'It's always out there in the media, but I have a very wonderful separation-divorce. It's a divorce but it's a weird one,' he said. 'It's funny. I don't think about that word very often - divorce.

'I don't see it that way. I see it more like you meet someone, you have some time together and things just move through. I've lived a lot of life since then.'

They have both moved on since, with Gwyneth having been in a relationship with Brad Falchuk since August 2014, while Chris is dating Annabelle after an on/off romance with Jennifer Lawrence.
