Romelu Lukaku: It's my dream to play with brother Jordan at club level after linking up for Belgium goal against Portugal

Romelu Lukaku admits it is his dream to play with his brother, Jordan Lukaku, at the same club after the pair combined to score against Portugal on Tuesday.

Jordan, 21, assisted Romelu, 22, for a consolation goal as Belgium were beaten 2-1 at the Estadio Dr Magalhaes Pessoa in Leiria on Tuesday night.

The younger brother of the Everton striker plays his football for Belgian Pro League side Oostende but Romelu is hopeful that they will be club team-mates someday.

'It was emotional,' Romelu said. 'My ultimate dream is to play with my brother at the same club.'

Jordan, who is a left back, used to play for Anderlecht before joining Oostende in 2013, where he has made 46 appearances. He had just one international cap to his name before Tuesday night.

Belgium are ranked No 1 in the world but were unable to avoid defeat against Portugal, as Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani got the goals that sealed the win.

The visitors will point out, however, that they had Vincent Kompany, Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, Christian Benteke and Jan Vertonghen among those missing on Tuesday night.

In the 20th minute Nani beat first the offside trap and then Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
