Is this the last straw for Tess? Messages 'show Vernon Kay DID try to arrange a secret hotel liaison with topless model in January, ordered her to delete texts and told her to wear a disguise WIG' 

The extent of Vernon Kay's recent flirty messages with the topless model who almost ended his marriage in 2010 has been revealed - apparently showing how the presenter did try to arrange a secret meet up, going as far as asking her to wear a wig to conceal her identity.

Kay had claimed earlier this week that the Whatsapp messages he sent to Rhian Sugden asking to meet had been taken out of context, that he had done 'nothing wrong' and that his wife of 13 years Tess Daly was completely aware of all contact.

But now messages have emerged apparently showing the All Star Family Fortunes presenter suggested meeting Sugden in 'a very private location', asking her not to tell anyone they were back in touch and ordering her to delete messages detailing any of their alleged plans.

The messages, obtained by The Sun, also reveal how they discussed their six year 'breaking news anniversary', before joking about 'moving forwards... to another meeting'.

At one point, Kay - who spoke to Sugden on the phone on at least one occasion, according to the messages - even laughingly admits 'we are idiots'. 

Kay and Sugden began messaging in December last year - when he claims she got in touch with him.

The Sun has now revealed how, in January, the two began to discuss meeting up in 'a very private location' for 'wine tasting'.

Kay is then said to have asked Sugden - said to be saved in his phone as 'Alice' - if she had thought of a venue, before saying he stayed at 'apartment hotel'.

He then adds: 'You'd better get a wig.'

Eleven days later, Sugden checks with him that he 'deletes all convos'.

'Of course,' he replies. 'Your profile pic ain't the most subtle so yes.'

The pair apparently attempt to meet up on several occasions, before making a final attempt which fell through after Kay had an 'emergency'. 

This week, the presenter claimed his Strictly Come Dancing star presenter wife knew all about his contact with Sugden. 

Kay wrote on Facebook: 'I was contacted by Rhian out of the blue back in December regarding the story in 2010 claiming she had information she wanted to pass on.

'I recognise how it may look when messages are pulled out of context but there was never any inappropriate intent to our communication, I was merely trying to find answers to questions that I've had since 2010.

'Tess is aware of everything that has been discussed with Rhian.' 

When approached by MailOnline, Kay's representative reiterated his position. 

'Vernon has already clarified that he was in touch with Rhian because she had information regarding the original story from 2010,' she said. 

'There was never any inappropriate intent to their communication.'

It was revealed earlier this week that Miss Daly is set to stand by her husband, six years after forgiving him for the previous scandal.

The pair are said to have held crunch talks over their marriage, which almost ended in 2010 after Kay was caught exchanging lewd text messages with Miss Sugden. 

He was forced to make a public apology to his wife on Radio 1 and promised he would no longer contact Miss Sugden or four other women he had been caught messaging. 

A source close to the couple said that despite her 'humiliation', Miss Daly, 46, is not likely to leave Kay and will justify this episode as 'entrapment'.

It also emerged that Miss Daly had given her husband one final chance to save their relationship but had issued him an ultimatum - to break off contact with the glamour model or lose his marriage.

A friend of the couple told The Sun: ‘Tess is utterly devastated but does not want to give up on her family. She met Vernon on Tuesday night and tore strips off him.

‘Vernon has obviously apologised for dragging it up again. Tess has forgiven him but only under some very strict conditions. The main one is that he never speaks to Rhian ever again.’
