It was only two weeks ago that their romantic proposal on The Bachelor aired. Kisses on the streets of New York City and hand holding at a Broadway show followed.

But it appears as if the love has not lasted between Ben Higgins and his fiancee Lauren Bushnell, according to Life & Style Weekly. The reality stars have been experiencing quite a bit of tension, a source claimed.

It was only this week that the 26-year-old flight attendant traveled to the 27-year-old Denver resident's home to take their romance to the next level after spending Easter together.

This was so yesterday: Audiences got to see Ben get down on one knee and propose to Lauren only two weeks ago on the ABC Bachelor finale

Though she won't move from her home in Marina Del Rey, California, to Colorado until next month (she has plans to move into his home there), the beauty is hoping to cement their love with this early trip.

However, she is already feeling unsteady about the relationship, it was alleged.

At the heart of the problem is that other woman. During the finale of The Bachelor, Ben told runner-up JoJo Fletcher that he loved her too.

This was just before getting down on one knee for Lauren.

Bushnell has since said that his admission rocked her and she did not like seeing Higgins tells JoJo he loved her.

'Lauren tries not to think about it,' a source said. 'But she's traumatized that Ben told another girl he loved her.' JoJo is currently shooting The Bachelorette, which will air in May.

The jealousy and hurt are very strong, said the insider, and that has led to tension.

'Everyone around them can feel the awkwardness,' said a source. 'It's unclear if they will last. Things between them are getting worse.'

According to their Instagram accounts, though, they are having fun.

On Wednesday the pair looked happy as clams as they posed together on a sofa in an image shared on Lauren's Instagram account.

But they still pack on the PDA: 'Everyone around them can feel the awkwardness,' said a source. 'It's unclear if they will last. Things between them are getting worse'
