$The head detective for Venezuela's office of Interpol is being charged with smuggling drugs to the Dominican Republic. \nThe Venezuelan Attorney General*s Office said Saturday in a statement that Interpol*s Eliecer Garcia coordinated a shipment of 349 kilograms (769 pounds) of cocaine found hidden in luggage by police on the Caribbean island last month. \nAuthorities say businessman Pablo Cardenas was the owner of the shipment sent from the city of Barquisimeto on a Cessna aircraft. She's been enjoying some down-time from her busy modelling career in the Caribbean.

And while she may have put the catwalk firmly to her back of her mind, Bella Hadid looked runway as she soaked up the sun on a yacht in a figure-flaunting swimsuit.

Slipping into a plunging one-piece, the 19-year-old beauty looked sensational as she leaped in and out of the crystal-clear waters surrounding the island of St Barts.

The rising supermodel - younger sister to catwalk queen Gigi Hadid - has been enjoying a getaway in the Caribbean with a group of friends.

And obviously not one to just sit back and relax in the sun, the brunette beauty couldn't resist cooling off by diving into the sea.

However Bella took a more extreme approach to a dip, when she was ferried back to shore in a dingy before she scaled a huge cliff and launched herself into the air.

Quite literally taking the plunge,the model looked invigorated and excited as she plummeted into the sea - obviously a keen cliff-jumping enthusiast.

And clearly very proud of her diving exploits, she shared a picture of her daring feat with her 3.4million followers on Instagram.

Despite the scary nature of her jump, Bella looked totally relaxed when she was spotted sunning herself on a beach later the same day.

Wearing a white version of the same swimsuit, the teen took a dip in the azure water,before catching up with a friend.

Bella has been thoroughly enjoying herself during her getaway to the tropical location this week.

She has been joined on the trip by her mother - Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster - and a group of pals.

Those on the island adventure include Bella's gal pal, the singer Jesse Jo Stark, and House Beer boss Isac Sindell.

Depsite Bella's relaxed appearance, if all had gone to plan for the ambitious teen, she would have been too busy prepping for the Olympics to take part in the trip.

For while Bella told Porter magazine in October that she was working toward representing the USA in equestrian events at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this summer, her mother Yolanda recently revealed her daughter has had to shelve that dream.

'Bella had to give up her lifelong dream of having a professional riding career and a shot at the Olympics due to her severe symptoms and inability to ride. This was the biggest heartbreak of her life and an extremely sensitive subject for her,' Yolanda wrote in a blog post.

The teenager is instead focusing on her blossoming modelling career, with Yolanda praising her 'resilient' daughter as she 'makes a name for herself in the modeling industry while she struggles with symptoms of chronic Lyme every day.'
