Claire Danes steps out hand-in-hand with husband Hugh Dancy as she walks to her new play Dry Powder in NYC

She told Jimmy Fallon earlier this week that she is enjoying being able to walk to work.

And Claire Danes was back in her stride as she strolled hand in hand with her husband Hugh Dancy on the way to the matinee performance of her play in NYC on Sunday.

The 36-year-old - who is currently starring in the off-Broadway play Dry Powder - looked stunning in off-duty style as she chatted animatedly to her British actor partner.

She stayed warm in a black wool winter coat, which she teamed with figure-hugging black leggings.

The Homeland actress added a scarf and black flat slip-on pumps, and carried her belongings in a silver bag slung across her body.

She styled her blonde bob in a side parting, worn straight and opted for a natural beauty look, with rosy cheeks perhaps from the invigorating walk.

The production, which began last week, is scheduled to run through May 1 at the Public Theater in NYC.

It is directed by Hamilton's Thomas Kail, and described as a 'viciously, deliciously funny new drama about the people shaping, and skewing, the American economy.'

Meanwhile, Claire is signed up to return as Carrie Mathison for a sixth season of her hit Showtime series Homeland this September 2016.
