$The head detective for Venezuela's office of Interpol is being charged with smuggling drugs to the Dominican Republic. \nThe Venezuelan Attorney General*s Office said Saturday in a statement that Interpol*s Eliecer Garcia coordinated a shipment of 349 kilograms (769 pounds) of cocaine found hidden in luggage by police on the Caribbean island last month. \nAuthorities say businessman Pablo Cardenas was the owner of the shipment sent from the city of Barquisimeto on a Cessna aircraft.
